Cucumber White Tea Body Scrub

Cucumber White Tea Body Scrub

I have been completely out of body scrubs for quite awhile now, time to make a new batch!

All of my other scrubs lasted for 2 months sitting on my bathroom counter, without being refrigerated! What a bonus, they may have lasted longer, but I used them up! See my other recipes…Spearmint Rose Petal Body Scrub, Strawberry Lemonade Body Scrub, Lemon Spearmint Body Scrub and DIY Brown Sugar Honey Foot Scrub.

I recently went to a hotel and they had the best smelling soap there, it was Cucumber White Tea, so I made this body scrub in an attempt to replicate the wonderful fragrance.

Cucumber with its inflammation and irritation reducing and skin firming qualities pairs nicely with the lovely white tea scent in this new homemade body scrub.

3/4 cup white sugar

4 tbsp. coconut oil Viva Naturals Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, 16 Ounce)

1/2 small cucumber- chopped and blended in blender

(don’t have fresh cucumbers – try using (SALE! 4oz Cucumber Seed Oil, 100% Pure and Natural, Organic, Cold-pressed, Unrefined, Moisturizer for Skin and Hair – Includes Pump & Dropper)

3-5 drops White Tea Fragrance (White Tea Fragrance Oil – Premium Grade Scented Oil – 10ml – 2-Pack)

Put into a container and you are ready to use to exfoliate your tired body parts. Just rub into your skin– rinse with warm water and towel dry. That simple. Great for using on your feet or hands or anywhere!

The recipe makes more than enough for a few uses. This should allow for at least 14 applications – depending on how many body parts you exfoliate! Remember you can refrigerate or leave on your bathroom counter. My scrubs last at least 2 months sitting out with no refrigeration (results may vary).

Keep for yourself or give as a gift!

I love the idea of making my own body scrubs because they use ingredients you already have in your pantry or garden and because every ingredient in it is all natural – no weird things that you don’t know what they are or how to pronounce them!
